Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be thousands of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other 'remote' for your car, you can unlock the doors / trunk.

Ensure you put an asterisk BEFORE the #06# sequence.

A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to
your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. If your
phone ever get stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless. You probably won't get your phone back,
but at least you know that whoever stole it can't use/sell it either. If
everybody done this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones.

How to use your Pen Drive as RAM

RAM (Random Access Memory) is the memory which computer uses to work on different processes. The more RAM you have, the faster the process is. Usually, these days the computers come with atleast 1 GB of RAM. But, that’s not enough to run some High Memory consuming softwares. Especially, the Games require a big amount of RAM to play smoothly. I have faced many problems with Games on my computer due to RAM. So, here I am going to show you how you can use your USB Pen Drive as RAM. The process explained below is for Windows 7 OS. For other, it might be slight different.

Step 1: Go to Start followed by Control Panel.

Step 2: Click on System and Security, then select System. See below screenshot.

Step 3: Now select Advanced system settings from the left side.

Step 4: The dialog box will open in Advanced tab, click on Settings, then go to Advanced tab.

Step 5: From there, you will see Virtual Memory, just click on Change…

Step 6: In Windows 7, the box Automatically manage paging file size for all drives comes prechecked, so we have to uncheck it to perform the operation.

Step 7: Now, from the local drives list, click on your Pen Drive letter, eg. H and set the Custom Size for it. If you have 4 GB Pen Drive, then enter 700 in Initial Size and 3072 in Maximum size and hit Set. See below screenshot.

Now, the computer will restart and everything is done !

இன்று நாம் அனைவரும் சொல்லிக்கொண்டிருக்கின்ற பிதாகரஸ் தியரம் (Pythagoras Theorem) என்ற கணித முறையை, பிதாகரஸ் என்பவர் கண்டறிவதற்கு முன்னரே, போதையனார் என்னும் புலவர் தனது செய்யுளிலே சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்.

புதிய அணை கட்டுவதில் என்ன தவறு ? -அதான் அதே அளவு தண்ணீர் தருகிறேன் என்கிறார்களே என்று தமிழர்களே கேட்கிறார்கள். தமிழ் நாளிதழ்களும், அரசியல் கட்சிகளும் தொலைக்காட்சிகளும் கூட தமிழ் மக்களை தயார் படுத்துவதில் தவறி விட்டன என்று தான் சொல்ல வேண்டும். இனியாவது விழித்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டும்.

புதிய அணை கட்டுவதாகச் சொல்வதில் இருக்கும் சதி பற்றி விவரமாக அகில இந்திய அளவில் எடுத்துச் சொல்ல வேண்டும்.

முல்லைப் பெரியாறு அணை கட்டப்பட்டது பிரிட்டிஷ் ஆண்ட காலத்தில் - 1895ல். அப்போது இந்த அணை கட்டும் இடம் திருவாங்கூர் சமஸ்தானத்தின் கட்டுப்பாட்டில் இருந்ததாக கருதப்பட்டது (உண்மை அது அல்ல.தமிழ் நாட்டின் வரையரைக்குள் தான் இருந்தது) எனவே பிரிட்டிஷார்- திருவாங்கூர் மஹாராஜாவுடன் இந்த அணை கட்டப்படும், மற்றும் அதன் நீர்ப்பிடிப்பு பகுதியான சுமார் 8000 ஏக்கர் நிலத்தை 999 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு குத்தகைக்கு எடுத்து (ஆண்டுக்கு ரூபாய் 40,000/- குத்தகைப் பணம் ) இந்த அணையை 1887ல் கட்ட ஆரம்பித்து 1895ல் கட்டி முடித்தனர்.

இதில் வேடிக்கை என்னவென்றால், இதில் அடிப்படையான பெரியாறு உற்பத்தியாவது தமிழ் நாட்டில் தான். அணையும் தமிழ் நாட்டிற்கு சொந்தமானது. அதை நிர்வகிப்பதும் தமிழ் நாடு தான். ஆனால் இடம் மட்டும் கேரளாவிற்கு சொந்தம். அதிகாரம் செலுத்துவதும் அவர்களே !

இந்த அணையின் உயரம்-கொள்ளளவு -152 அடி. இதன் மூலம் பாசனம் பெறும் நிலம் – சுமார் 2,08,000 ஏக்கர். மதுரை, தேனி, சிவகங்கை, ராமநாதபுரம் ஆகிய 4 மாவட்டங்களைச் சேர்ந்த 10 லட்சம் விவசாயிகள் பாசனத்திற்கும், 60 லட்சம் மக்கள் குடிநீருக்கும் இந்த அணையை நம்பி இருக்கிறார்கள். இந்த அணை பறிக்கப்பட்டால் – இத்தனை இடங்களும் பாலைவனங்கள் ஆகும். இத்தனை ஜனங்களும் பிழைப்பு பறிபோய் – பிச்சைக்காரர்கள் ஆவார்கள்.

பிரச்சினை ஆரம்பித்தது எப்படி ? எப்போது ?

கேரளா, இதற்கு சுமார் 50 கிலோமீட்டர் கீழே, இடுக்கியில் 1976ல் ஒரு அணையும் நீர் மின்நிலையமும் கட்டியது. பின்னர் தான் ஆரம்பித்தன அத்தனை தொல்லைகளும்.

பெரியாறு அணையின் மொத்த கொள்ளளவே 15.66 டிஎம்சி தான்.அதிலும் சுமார் 10 டிஎம்சியை தான் பயன்படுத்த முடியும் (104 அடி வரை டெட் ஸ்டோரேஜ்). ஆனால் இடுக்கி இதைப் போல் 7 மடங்கு பெரியது. கொள்ளளவு 70 டிஎம்சி. பெரிய அணையைக் கட்டி விட்டார்களே தவிர அது நிரம்பும் வழியாகக் காணோம். 3 வருடங்கள் பொறுத்துப் பார்த்தார்கள். பெரியாறு வருடாவருடம் நிரம்பிக் கொண்டு இருந்தது. ஆனால் இடுக்கி நிரம்பவே இல்லை.

அப்போது போடப்பட்ட சதித்திட்டம் தான் - பெரியாறு அணைக்கு ஆபத்து என்கிற குரல் -கூக்குரல். சுண்ணாம்பு அணை உடைந்து விடும். அதிலிருந்து வெளிவரும் நீரால் 35 லட்சம் மக்கள் செத்துப் போவார்கள். எனவே உடனடியாக புதிய அணை கட்டுவதே தீர்வு !

புதிய அணையினால் அவர்களுக்கு என்ன லாபம் ?

மேலே இருக்கும் பழைய அணையை இடிப்பதால், நீர்பிடிப்பு பகுதியிலிருந்து அத்தனை நீரும் நேராக இடுக்கிக்கு வந்து அதை நிரப்பும். சரி நிரம்பட்டுமே.

நல்லது தானே !

அதான் தமிழ்நாட்டுக்கு இதே அளவு தண்ணீர் தருகிறேன் என்று சொல்கிறார்களே என்று உடனே மக்கள் கேட்கிறார்க்ள்.

அங்கே தான் இருக்கிறது அவர்கள் சாமர்த்தியம். பெரியாறு அணை இருப்பது கடல் மட்டத்திலிருந்து 2709 முதல் 2861 அடி உயரம் வரை. இதிலிருந்து மலையைக் குடைந்து குகைப்பாதை வழியாக தண்ணீர் தமிழ் நாட்டை நோக்கி கொண்டு வரப்படுகிறது.

புதிய அணையை கட்டப்போவது 1853 அடி உயரத்தில்.இந்த அணை கட்டப்படும் உயரத்திலிருந்து தமிழ் நாட்டிற்கு தண்ணீரைத் திருப்பி விட முடியாது. நமக்கு பெரியாறு அணையிலிருந்து நீர் எடுத்து வரும் பாதை இதை விட உயரத்தில் ஆரம்பித்து, ஒரு கிலோ மீட்டர் பயணத்திற்கு பிறகு 5704 அடி நீளமுள்ள - மலையைக் குடைந்த குகை வழியாக திசை மாறி வந்து பின்னர் கீழே வைகையில் கலக்கிறது. அணையைக் கட்டிய பிறகு, இவர்கள் உண்மையாகவே விரும்பினாலும் நீரைத் திருப்ப முடியாது. மேலும் புதிய அணையிலிருந்து ஆண்டு முழுவதும் நீர்மின்சாரம் உற்பத்தி செய்ய நீரை வெளியேற்றிக் கொண்டே இருக்கப் போகிறார்கள். எனவே அணை எப்போதுமே முழுவதுமாக நிரம்பி இருக்காது.தமிழ் நாட்டிற்கு தண்ணீர் நிச்சயமாக கிடைக்காது.

புதிய அணையினால் தமிழ் நாட்டிற்கு பயன் இல்லை - புரிகிறது.

ஆனால் பழைய அணை சுண்ணாம்பு அணை - எப்போது வேண்டுமானாலும் உடைந்து விடும். 35 லட்சம் மக்கள் செத்து விடுவார்கள் என்கிறார்களே - பயம் உண்மையானது போல் தோன்றுகிறதே ?

அயோக்கியத்தனம்.

வடிகட்டிய அயோக்கியத்தனம்.

முதலாவதாக - பெரியாறு அணை உடைந்தால் தண்ணீர் - மலைப் பள்ளத்தாக்குகள் வழியாகப் பாய்ந்து - நேராக கீழே உள்ள இடுக்கி அணையைத் தான் வந்தடையும். பெரியாறு அணையிலிருந்து அதன் முழு நீரும் (10 டிஎம்சி) ஒரே நேரத்தில் வெளியேறினாலும், நேராக அதைப்போல் 7 மடங்கு கொள்ளளவு உடைய இடுக்கி அணையைத் தான் வந்தடைய போகிறது. இடையில் எந்த நாடு, நகரமும் இல்லை. வாதத்திற்காக இடுக்கி அணை ஏற்கெனவே நிரம்பி இருந்தாலும் – வெளியேறும் நீர் பெரியாறு அணையிலிருந்து இடுக்கி வந்து சேர 4 மணி நேரம் ஆகும். அதற்குள்ளாக இடுக்கியிலிருந்து தேவையான நீரை வெளியேற்றி விட முடியும் ! எனவே வெள்ளத்தால் பொதுமக்கள் பாதிக்கப்படுவார்கள் என்கிற பேச்சே அபத்தமானது.

இரண்டாவதாக - 1976ல் இடுக்கி அணையை கட்டினார்கள். 1979ல் பெரியாறு அணை உடையப்போகிறது என்று குரல் எழுப்பினார்கள். பயத்தைக் கிளப்பினார்கள். சுப்ரீம் கோர்ட் வரை போனார்கள். 2000ஆவது ஆண்டு சுப்ரீம் கோர்ட் நிபுணர் குழுவை அமைத்தது. நிபுணர் குழுவின் ஆலோசனைப்படி அணை அனைத்து விதங்களிலும் பலப்படுத்தப்பட்டது.

கேரளா சொல்வது போல் இது வெறும் சுண்ணாம்பு அணை அல்ல. ஏற்கெனவேயே முதல் தடவையாக 1933ல் 40 டன் சிமெண்ட் கலவை சுவரில் துளையிட்டு உள்ளே செலுத்தப்பட்டது. மீண்டும் 1960ல் 500 டன் சிமெண்ட் உள் செலுத்தப்பட்டது.

2000ஆவது ஆண்டு சுப்ரீம் கோர்ட் சென்ற பிறகு - நிபுணர் குழுவின் ஆலோசனைப்படி - லேடஸ்ட் தொழில் நுட்பங்களைப் பயன்படுத்தி, கேபிள் ஆன்கரிங் முறையில் அணையுள் கான்க்ரீட் கலவை செலுத்தப்பட்டது. வெளிப்புறமாக - ஒரு கவசம் போல், கிட்டத்தட்ட புது அணையே போல், கான்க்ரீட் போடப்பட்டு, ஒரு புத்தம்புதிய கான்க்ரீட் அணையே உருவாக்கப்பட்டு விட்டது.

கீழே உள்ள வரைபடத்தைப் பார்த்தால் நன்றாகப் புரியும்.

இதன் பிறகு தான், 27/02/2006 அன்று, சுப்ரீம் கோர்ட், இனி அணைக்கு எந்த ஆபத்தும் இல்லை என்பதை நிபுணர் குழுவின் மூலம் உறுதி செய்துகொண்டு - 156 அடிவரை தண்ணீர் தேக்கிக் கொள்ளலாம் என்று அனுமதியே கொடுத்தது.


விட்டார்களா நமது கேரள சகோதரர்கள் ?
மீண்டும் சதி. ஒரு மாதத்திற்குள்ளாக, கேரள சட்டமன்றத்தில் புதிய சட்டம் இயற்றி, சுப்ரீம் கோர்ட் உத்திரவையே செல்லாததாக்கி விட்டார்கள்.

FULL STORY :


Another monumental performance from Rahul Dravid on the fourth day of the fourth test at the Oval delayed England's progress towards a series whitewash over India.

Dravid became the third Indian batsman to carry his bat in a test with an unbeaten 146 compiled in six hours 19 minutes in his team's 300 all out in reply to England's 591 for six declared.

He was soon back in the middle after England enforced the follow-on and frustrated England for a further 55 minutes before departing caught for 13.

Despite Dravid's heroics, England still need only seven wickets to win the series 4-0 on final day after India ended on for 129 for three, still trailing by 162.

Sachin Tendulkar, who received another standing ovation in what may his last test innings in England, was unbeaten on 35.

Dravid scored 103 not out in the first test at Lord's and 117 in the second at Trent Bridge and is the only Indian to reach three figures in a miserable series for the visitors.

A consummate team man who kept wicket briefly at Lord's when his captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni decided to bowl, Dravid opened the batting in Nottingham and again at the Oval in place of Gautam Gambhir who was injured on both occasions.

He completed his 35th test century to move ahead of his boyhood hero Sunil Gavaskar and West Indian Brian Lara in the all-time list behind Tendulkar (51), South Africa's Jacques Kallis (40) and Australian Ricky Ponting (39).

He emulated Gavaskar and Virender Sehwag by batting throughout an innings and became the first man to face 30,000 test deliveries.

Dravid's heroics at least guaranteed a competitive day's cricket in a one-sided series during which England took over the world's number one ranking from India.

Resuming on 57, he could have been run out four runs later after a mixup with Dhoni. Otherwise his footwork and concentration were impeccable as off-spinner Graeme Swann, who took three cheap wickets on Saturday night, toiled in vain from the Vauxhall end.

Dravid moved through the 90s with three sweetly timed boundaries in a Swann over and reached his hundred with a late cut for two off Tim Bresnan.

He had lost Dhoni caught behind by Matt Prior off James Anderson for a sketchy 17 but found a useful partner in leg-spinner Amit Mishra who contributed 43, including a six off the last ball before lunch from Swann, to a seventh-wicket partnership of 87.

The tail, including Gambhir who scored 10 batting at nine, contributed little but India's final total was still the only time they have reached 300 in the series.

Sehwag, who had failed to last longer than the first over in his three previous innings in the series, edgedAnderson's first ball of the second innings past his off stump to the boundary for four. He thumped a further boundary off the sixth ball.

Dravid was given out caught at short-leg by Alastair Cook off Swann for seven by umpire Rod Tucker and immediately called for a review which showed he had not made contact.

He had scored one more run when the same umpire signalled byes although television replays indicatedDravid had got an edge which eluded Prior.

Five runs later there was no reprieve when Dravid pushed forward again to Swann and Cook claimed the catch after the ball appeared to go from bat to pad. The batsman again appealed but this time third umpire Steve Davis ruled in the bowler's favour.

Sehwag departed for 33, bowled through the gap by Swann and Vangipurappu Laxman was given a life after he had scored 20 when Andrew Strauss dropped a low chance to his right hand at first slip off Anderson.

He scored only four more runs when Anderson ripped his off-stump out of the ground with a splendid delivery which left the batsman stranded.

INDIAN PLAYERS & THEIR INJURIES

1) Zaheer Khan :


If sachin tendulkar has been heart of Indian cricket , Zaheer Khan has been backbone of Indian bowling line up. Without him Indian bowling looks spine less . India got biggest blow of the series when zaheer got his hamstring pulled in very first match , very first innings. India didn’t recover from the blow and it showed how weak our side is without him. We can still win matches without any one distinguished batsman but without zaheer in the bowling attack , it becomes less probable for us to take 20 wickets in test format.


2) Ishant Sharma :


Ishant has got everything in him to make him lethal bowler. Ricky Pointing considered Ishan’t spell in one of matches against australia as one of best single spell he faced in long career. Ishant has not utilized his full potential and has been brilliant in bits and pieces but he along with zaheer can provide good combination. He is out due to Ligament injury in the left ankle.


3) Virender Shewag :


India missed him in present series. He was selected despite fitness issue. He had got operated due to shoulder injury. Sad part of story is he was suffering since long and had decided to get himself operatedafter world cup but his bosses of IPL didnt seem to like the idea and so shewag choosed to play for IPL rather than getting operated. Result is in front of us. Shewag is again out due to Shoulder injury and labyrinthithis of the left ear.


4) Gautam Gambhir :


He has been most consistent batsman in last two years for India. Like V V S Laxman he is expected to come up with solid innings in test arena. He got injured first in his elbow and was forced to sit out in next match. He again got injured when he got his head banged while trying to take a catch. Currently he is sufferingtemporary blur image and continuous headache hinder his ability to concentrate.


5) Yuvraj Singh:

• இந்த தேர்தலில் அ.தி.மு.க பொது செயலாளர் ஜெயலலிதா அவர்கள் கூட்டணி கட்சியான நடிகர் விஜய்யின் "மக்கள் இயக்கம்" கட்சிக்கு 25 சீட்டுக்களை ஒதுக்கி உள்ளார்

• கடைசி பேச்சு வார்த்தைக்காக திரு ஒ.பன்னீர்செல்வம் மற்றும் செங்கோட்டையன் அவர்கள் திரு விஜயகாந்தை சந்தித்து, அம்மா அவர்கள் தங்களின் கட்சிக்கு 9 சீட்டுகள் தான் தரப்படும் என்ற செய்தியை முன்மொழிந்தனர்.

• சென்ற தேர்தலை புறகணித்த ம.தி.மு.க, இந்த முறை முன்றாவது அணியை உருவாக்க தன தலைமையில் ஸ்.தி.மு.க (ஸ்டாலின் தி.மு.க) மற்றும் ம.அ.தி.மு.க (மதுரை அழகிரி தி.மு.க) உடன் பேச்சுவார்த்தை நடத்தி வருகிறது.

• ஸ்.தி.மு.க (ஸ்டாலின் தி.மு.க) மற்றும் (மதுரை அழகிரி தி.மு.க) செயல்பாடுகள் திருப்தி அளிக்காத காரணத்தினால் தான், நான் மு.தி.மு.க (முரசொலி தி.மு.க) கட்சியை தொடங்கி உள்ளேன் என்று அந்த கட்சியின் தலைவர் திரு.தயாநிதி மாறன் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

• 31 இடங்களில் போட்டியிட்டு வெறும் 2 இடங்களில் ஜெயித்த பா.ம.க. தான் கேட்ட 85 தொகுதிகள் தராத காரணத்தினால் 4 அணியை உருவாக்க திட்டமிட்டுள்ளது.

• லட்சிய தி.மு.க. தலைவர் T . ராஜேந்தர் தனது மகன் சிலம்பரசனை பொதுசெயலராக அறிவித்துள்ளார். மேலும் அவர் பா.ம.க 4 அணியை உருவாக்கினால் நாங்கள் 5 வது அணியை உருவாக்குவோம், எங்களின் கடல் தாண்டிய பலத்தை நிரூபிப்போம் என்று தெரிவித்துள்ளார்

• சென்ற தேர்தலில் 234 தொகுதியில் போட்டியிட்டு ஒன்றில் கூட ஜெயிக்காத பா.ஜ.க , இந்த முறையும் 234 தொகுதிளில் போட்டியிடுகிறது.
